Kids being out of school and a lot of places being closed, there have been a ton of 3D virtual activities to do right from your computer. Enjoy experiencing field trips, museums, and broadway shows straight from your computer screen or television.
1. Virtual Field Trips
Take your kids on a field trip this week to over thirty virtual places! For instance, some of the virtual field trips that you and your kids can take is exploring the San Diego Zoo, a virtual farm tour, and even the Great Wall of China! 3. Metropolitan Opera Virtual Shows
During this time the Metropolitan Opera is offering Free Virtual Shows! Get comfortable on the couch, dress up for the occasion, or simply sit at your desk and enjoy watching encore performances of some of the most popular opera shows. Every day this week, there will be a different show. Keep track of all the performances that you will want to watch. The performances will start at 7:30 p.m.
4. Virtual Playdates
Every morning starting at 10 a.m. there will be virtual playdates for you and your kids to enjoy! Every day will be something new and exciting! For instance, there will be arts and crafts involved, a chance to share St. Patrick’s Day photos with one another, and even a cooking lesson. This will be a great bonding activity to do with your kids.
5. Live Stream Doodles
Starting today and happening for the next few weeks will be a live stream doodle with Mo Willems. During this live stream doodling, kids or adults will have the opportunity to learn how to draw. Each video will be up at 1 p.m. You even have the opportunity to email Mo Willems for any questions that you might have!

Another great activity to experience with your kids this week is the Virtual Book Club. Each week is based on a specific book. Read the book together and then complete the activities with one another. This virtual activity is great for preschool and toddler-aged children.

It’s important for children’s learning to continue during a few weeks of no school. The Scholastic Virtual Learn at Home makes it easy to do straight from the computer screen. The website will provide day to day projects to keep kids of any grade learning, as well as doing hands-on activities. 9. Audiobooks and Ebooks
You and your kids can enjoy listening to some of your favorite audiobooks or ebooks by one simple app! Using this app means that you can listen to books from your local library for free. If your child isn’t much of a reader, then they can use the app to listen to an old book, a new book, or any book! This app can be used for children and adults!
10. Watch Live Aquarium Webcams
See animals right from your home screen! Check out the Georgia Aquarium webcam to watch all of the animals! For instance, you will have the ability to see otters, puffins, beluga whales, and more! Learn about the animals and see them up close from the videos.
