The splash park that’s located in Tavares is usually open from July to September. The Winter months are the only months that the splash park is closed. These include the months of October through March. Visit the Tavares splash park during the hours of 10:00 a.m. until 7 p.m. The general admission is only $2. However, if this is a splash pad that you will end up visiting often, then you can look into purchasing a seasonal pass!

If you’re looking into reading a new book, then you will have the opportunity to visit the Tavares library. Not only can you visit this library, but you can attend its events or the virtual events that are offered at this location. The computers are available for guests to use for up to 60 minutes. If you would like to just get your book and go, the Tavares Library also offers curbside pick up between the hours of 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday.

Seaplane Base FA1:
An interesting fact about the Tavares area is that it’s home to the Seaplane Base FA1. This means that this area is used for a seaplane airport and recreational boating marina. From 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. seven days of the week is when the fuel pumps are open. The only days that the Seaplane Base is closed are on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Eve and New Years Day.
Downtown Tavares:
Hang out in the Downtown Tavares area. The Downtown Tavares area is filled with parks, facilities, and more. For example, take your dog to visit the Tavares Dog Park. Not only can you take your dog to the dog park, but you can also enroll in one of the Tavares sports leagues. Join during the Fall season.
