What are some things that you have learned and that surprised you about real estate after becoming an agent?
I have learned about all the “red flags” and the warnings for when situations go sideways. I try my very best to be proactive instead of being reactive to ensure that my clients and I are going to have a smooth process. What is also important to learn when being in the real estate industry is to learn how to overcome the hurdles.
Where has your inspiration come from when selling real estate?
I have been inspired by watching my mentor, my boss, and my friend, Jenny Wemert. She makes contract preparation, negotiating, transaction management, as well as thinking outside of the box seem so effortless. She has become such an inspiration to me when it comes to selling real estate. Being able to see the love and appreciation that her clients have had for her has made me believe that I can do what I can to help others too.
How has your personal life blended into your life as an agent in a positive way?
Well, thankfully being a realtor has allowed me to have flexible hours. I have the ability to create my own schedule. This helps me get a lot accomplished as well as being able to book some fun into my free time.
