Q: Have you always lived in Central Florida? Where do you consider ‘home?’
A: I grew up in Southern Michigan. I didn’t move to Florida until I was 17 and that is when I met my wife and we graduated then went to UCF together. Even though I was born in Michigan and retain some bad habits from there (like rooting for the Detroit Lions) I would consider Oviedo my home!
Q: What are your favorite things about living in Central Florida?
A: I would definitely say the amount of things to do. Growing up in the country I spent most of my summers just playing outside in the woods. Living here lets me take my kids on adventures right here in our backyard. We frequent all of the theme parks and enjoy all of the other entertainment that is available!
Q: How has your personal life blended into your life as an agent in a positive way?
A: I married my high school sweetheart Amanda and we have 2 wonderful kids, Brayton and Madison. I am so happy to start a career that allows me to set my schedule for what works best for my family. I will be able to choose how many clients I help at a time so I can still be there for all of the important memories we build together!
Q: Where does your inspiration come from when it comes to selling real estate?
A: I have worked hard my entire life. I have been a teacher for 10 years and have several colleagues that started in real estate to earn extra income. After hearing about their success and the similarities of helping people find a home and helping people in the classroom, I knew I needed to start the path to earn my license.
Q: What are your hobbies outside of doing real estate?
A: I have many hobbies outside of real estate. My favorite hobby is to spend time with my family at Disney or on vacations. We take a trip to DC every year with my students over summer break and we try to go on at least one other cool trip over the summer. I enjoy watching sports and rooting for some of the former students that I have coached. I am also bad at golf and great at poker!
Q: What, if anything, would you want your future clients to know about you?
A: I am a very dedicated and loyal person. I look forward to using the skills I learned while teaching to help them learn about real estate and to pick the home that is right for them. I remember the feeling I got when my family bought our first home and when we upgraded to our dream home. I will do everything in my power to make sure my clients get to experience those same amazing feelings!
