You will also get the chance to make your very own chocolate to take home with you. If your child falls in love with this sweet chocolate factory, you can consider having their birthday party at this convenient location. Host your own event or corporate meeting in one of their exquisite meeting rooms.
Places to Stay:
Kissimmee has a ton of great options to choose from whether you need a little getaway trip or you have guests coming to visit. Take your RV for a spin out to the Kissimmee RV Park Campgrounds. You will get to enjoy a little time away from reality at this relaxing campground which is conveniently located by all the Orlando theme parks. Bring the whole family including your pets for some fun at this great outdoor campground. You won’t only feel like you’re camping with your RV in the great outdoors, but you can also take a quick dip in the pool that this campground offers to their guests.
If you are looking for more of a resort style place to get away at, you will be able to enjoy plenty of places in Kissimmee. For instance, the Star Island Resort and Club is one of the most extravagant resorts in the area. Have a blast swimming in the outdoor pool area of this resort and take advantage of the bar to have a refreshing drink and unwind. Kissimmee also has great resorts for the whole family to enjoy. The kids will be overjoyed to get to stay at The Magic Moment Resort and Kids Club. Cozy up together and relax while watching the flat screen televisions that the rooms provided. Take the kids out to the children’s play area that this resort offers. You can also enjoy the heated pool and all the modern décor.
Exciting Activities and Attractions:
The Kissimmee area has a lot of fun and exciting opportunities to go out and enjoy some entertainment in the area or have fun at any of the major attractions that this city has to offer for residents. You can feel like you are back in the medieval days by attending the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament. This majestic theater will give you the illusion that the live action performers are real knights. While enjoying this spectacular show, you may also enjoy dinner with the Royal Court. Another great attraction to stop at in the city of Kissimmee is at all the exciting theme parks, such as Universal Studios and Islands of
Adventure. You will be able to enjoy the day riding all the thrilling roller coasters, seeing a variety of different shows that these parks offer and eating at any of the restaurants inside each of these theme parks.
Make your way over to the theme park known as SeaWorld where you will be able to attend many shows that involve sea creatures like killer whales, dolphins, otters, and more. Take a wild ride on any of the aquatic based roller coasters at this ocean themed park. Fly high on the ride Manta or take a journey through Atlantis on the ride Journey to Atlantis. While you are in the theme park mood, you will of course want to make your way over to what is known as the happiest place on Earth. Make a family day or invite some friends to go out and enjoy any of the fun theme parks at Walt Disney World. See all the unique animals along with animal themed shows at the Animal Kingdom. You can also take a trip around the world in just one walk around the park at Epcot. This is also the park that offers the Food and Wine Festival throughout certain times of the year. You will also get to enjoy quite a few different rides and shows that this park has to offer. If you happen to be a huge Star Wars fan or possibly a Disney Pixar fan, then you will have to head over to Hollywood Studios to enjoy the Star wars rides or the soon to be Toy Story Land area. This park also has an old time vintage like feel to it. Last, but certainly not least end your day at the magical Magic Kingdom. This park will make you feel like the biggest kid in the best possible way. Admire Cinderella’s castle while eating a refreshing mickey bar ice cream. Enjoy the rides like Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and so much more.
Not only does the Kissimmee area offer all these great theme parks, but spend a day cooling off at any of the water parks. Enjoy the water park owned by SeaWorld known as Aquatica. Have a blast on any of the rides that this park offers, and you might even be able to have a close encounter with some marine life animals. SeaWorld isn’t the only theme park in the area that offers water parks. Disney of course has a couple different water parks to choose from. Take your pick between experiencing a water filled day at the Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. You and your family will love the atmosphere that these water parks have to offer and you will also be pleased to know that they offer areas that the children are able to enjoy as well. You also won’t want to miss out on spending a few hours at the very popular park known as Gatorland. This reptile inspired park will let you see Florida Gators up close and personal. You will have the opportunity to feel brave and get your picture sitting on one of the gators in the park. While you’re at it, feel free to take your turn on the screamin’ Gator zip line in this park. Don’t miss out on the shows featuring Florida’s favorite reptile. You will also have a lot of different opportunities to see other wildlife up close and personal at this fun outdoor park. Make your visit at night, so that you will have the chance to do the interesting Gator Night Shine. Speaking of great things to do with the kids, the Kissimmee area has a little theme park that your children will love. LEGOLAND is a theme park based entirely off of Lego’s! Have fun riding kid friendly rides that are also Lego themed. You will also get to appreciate seeing all the different sculptures throughout the park that are made from actual Lego’s. You and the kids will love spending time at this exciting theme park.
The city of Kissimmee is full of theme parks and possibly even some that you might have never heard of. For example, the Old Town Amusement Park. This amusement park is a little bit different than the other theme parks around town. You will be able to shop, dine, and check out quite a few of the events that this little part of town hosts for their guests. Shop at places like Tiki Jim’s, Old Town Leather, SaltWater USA, and Wild Billie’s Gifts, Full Dollar, Groovy Store, the Old Town General Store and
so much more. You will also have a lot of great options to have a pleasant dining experience. Choose from places like Bamboo
Court, Frogger’s Bar and Grill, Auntie Anne’s, Coffee and Tobacco Works, Downtown Deli, Jimmy John’s and quite a few more. Old Town in Kissimmee also has some great events to attend. Experience fun at some of the events like the Old Town Throw down. This event is for anyone to come out and admire big trucks while country music fills your ears. A few weekly events held here are Family Movie Night and Old Town Karaoke. Make it a family movie night and attend any of the free movies held on the big screen. Show your talent during the Old Town Karaoke night. You will also be able to attend a variety of car shows that Old Town often hosts for the vintage car admirers. What would an amusement park be without rides? Take a whirl in the Ferris wheel where you will be able to see the whole town of Kissimmee. Check out the Happy Days Family Fun Center to play some classic arcade games. Get spooky vibes from venturing to the Mortem Manor. This haunted attraction will have your adrenaline pumping through your veins with all the spooky vibes you will get to experience. The Rootin’ and Tootin’s shootin’ Alley is a little section where you can aim at all the crazy and unique targets in the booth. You will also be able to see some exciting magic happen at The Great Magic Hall. Take your pick to go see these shows at any of the offered times. Spend the weekends going out and enjoying fun things to do like bowling. Head over to the Kissimmee bowling alley, also known as AMF Kissimmee Lanes. Brush up on your bowling skills at this bowling alley. After a few hours of bowling, make a night of it and head on over to the Kissimmee movie theater. Regal the Loop Stadium 16 & RPX is a comfortable theater with stadium seating, so that as you enjoy your choice of movie, you will also feel at ease and relaxed. Purchase popcorn and soda at this theater’s concession area so that you won’t go hungry during your viewing experience.
Shopping and Dining in Kissimmee:
The Kissimmee area not only has plenty of fun things to do and attractions to explore, but it also has great places to shop and eat. Shop at a variety of different places in this area. The Lanier’s Historic Downtown Market Place has plenty of vintage items to rummage through. Continuing on your antique adventure through Kissimmee, you can also check out Echoes of Yesterday. Pick up all your favorite groceries at the local Publix or Walmart Neighborhood Market in the Kissimmee area. You can also shop at all the classic and inexpensive stores in the area like the Dollar Tree, Goodwill, Ross, and Beall’s Outlet. Take a break from all the shopping and stop at one of the delicious restaurants in Kissimmee. Try out some unique places in the area like Savion’s Place, Tarantino’s Italian Restaurant, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, Fat Boy’s Barbeque, Willy’s Wiener’s, and Olive Garden Italian Restaurant.
