WeMate Spotlight: Meet Orlando Realtor® Stacy Fleck
Beautiful homes are part of the job, but what Stacy Fleck remembers most are the people and the stories behind every transaction. After more than a decade in real estate, she knows buying or selling a home means more than a new address. It’s often the beginning of a new chapter for many families.
Whether someone is relocating for work, downsizing after retirement, navigating the loss of a loved one, or simply looking for a fresh start, Stacy believes her role is to make one of life’s biggest transitions feel a little less overwhelming.
“If I can be the one thing in their life that’s stable and help guide them through the process, that’s the greatest joy,” she says.
It’s that mindset that has shaped the way she serves every client and why relationships have always mattered more to her than transactions.
Real Estate Is Rarely Just About Real Estate
One of the biggest misconceptions Stacy hears is that real estate is all about touring beautiful homes and negotiating contracts.
She laughs because the reality couldn’t be more different.
“People think selling real estate is just looking at pretty houses and what it looks like on TV,” she says. “It’s very rarely like that.”
Behind almost every transaction is a major life event. Sometimes it’s exciting, like a growing family buying their forever home. Other times, clients are facing some of life’s hardest moments. They’ve lost a spouse, accepted a job in another state, gone through a divorce, or need to sell a home after years of memories.
She understands that these moments can feel overwhelming, which is why Stacy focuses on much more than paperwork and deadlines. She wants every client to know they have someone they can count on.
“I’m never going to let them down,” she says. “I’m never not going to be available for them. I’m going to be the support system they need to get to the next step.
How Her Background Impacts Her Career Today
Long before she became a Realtor®, Stacy spent twelve years working in the banking industry. During her final years there, she worked with builders and land developers, which provided her with a strong foundation in real estate before she ever helped her first client buy or sell a home.
She wanted to find a career that would allow her to support her family while still giving her the flexibility to be there when they needed her most, and real estate turned out to be exactly that.
What started as the right decision for her family quickly became a career she couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
Now, twelve years later, she’s still driven by the same purpose that first brought her into the business: helping people through important moments in their lives.
Relationships That Last Long After Closing Day
If you were to ask Stacy what success looks like, it has very little to do with numbers.
Instead, she talks about relationships. Some of the people she helped buy homes a decade ago still call her today. She’s watched clients get married, grow their families, and celebrate milestones she never could have imagined being a small part of when they first met.
“They might text me or call me just asking for advice,” she says. “Because it is a relationship. It’s not a transaction.”
Stacy treats every client the way she would want her own family to be treated.
“I couldn’t be more genuine when I say that I treat everyone as if they were my own family,” she says. “That’s not just a line.”
That philosophy shows up in the little things. It’s answering a late-night phone call, explaining a contract one more time, checking in after closing, or simply being available when someone needs guidance.
To Stacy, buying or selling a home isn’t the finish line. It’s the beginning of a relationship she hopes lasts for years.
Why Stacy Fleck Chose Wemert Group Realty
After working in corporate America and another brokerage, Stacy wasn’t looking for just another place to hang her license. She was looking for a team.
What she found at Wemert Group Realty surprised her. She talks about more than eighty people who genuinely want each other to succeed, openly share their knowledge, and celebrate one another’s wins.
One evening, while working on a contract around 10:30 at night, Stacy reached out to another agent with a quick question. Within minutes, she had the answer she needed.
At Wemert Group Realty, no one pretends to know everything. Instead, everyone is willing to help because they know the client benefits when the team works together.
She also appreciates having leaders who are present and accessible every day, something she hadn’t experienced earlier in her career. That collaborative environment allows her to continue learning, growing, and providing an even better experience for the people she serves.
Sunshine, Live Music, and “Mimi’s Dollhouse”
Originally from northeastern Pennsylvania, Stacy has called Central Florida home since 1998.
While many people think of Orlando for its theme parks, Stacy enjoys everything the area has to offer. She loves spontaneous evenings at Disney, live concerts, performing arts, and spending time at the beach whenever she can.
New Smyrna Beach holds a special place in her heart, while Captiva remains one of her favorite places in Florida.
Outside of real estate, she’s happiest spending time with family and diving into creative projects.
Her favorite project at the moment is one she’s dreamed about for years.
Originally, she planned to build a dollhouse for her granddaughters, but somewhere along the way, it became “Mimi’s Dollhouse.”
Every room is carefully designed with tiny flooring, wallpaper, furniture, and decorations. It’s a detailed labor of love that has become one of her favorite hobbies. Her granddaughters still get to enjoy it, although she jokes it’s under “strict supervision.”
It’s a project that perfectly reflects Stacy’s personality. She’s patient, thoughtful, and believes the smallest details can make something truly special.
Don’t Wait for Perfection
One piece of advice has stayed with Stacy over the past year.
“Don’t wait for perfection to take action.”
It’s something she now applies to every area of life.
- Don’t wait until your house is perfectly decorated before inviting friends over.
- Don’t wait for the perfect time to take the vacation you’ve always wanted.
- Don’t wait until you think you’re perfect before introducing yourself to someone new.
For Stacy, life is meant to be lived now because she believes people are seeking connection. She carries this reminder into every conversation she has with clients. People don’t need someone who has all the answers. They need someone who will listen, care, and walk alongside them.
At the heart of Stacy’s business is making sure people feel supported.
Whether someone is buying their first home, relocating to Central Florida, downsizing after retirement, or navigating an unexpected life change, Stacy wants them to know they don’t have to do it alone.
She’ll be there to answer the questions, solve the problems, celebrate the victories, and make the process feel a little easier.
Because for Stacy, real estate has never been about selling homes.
It’s about helping people move confidently into whatever chapter comes next, knowing they have someone they’ll always be able to call long after closing day.
