Alvin Abud’s Journey from Hospitality to Real Estate
Alvin’s career began in hospitality, inspired by his father, who worked as a hotel general manager. After earning his degree in Hospitality Management from UCF, he worked at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. It was there, during a real estate conference, that his career path shifted. Meeting a group of brokers opened his eyes to new possibilities, and within a year, he earned his real estate license.
Since then, Alvin has evolved from a new agent to a trusted Orlando Realtor® who serves families, investors, and relocators across Central Florida. He does not limit himself to one neighborhood. Instead, he is willing to drive wherever his clients’ needs take him.

Born in New York, raised in New Jersey, and a Floridian since age 12, Alvin now calls Winter Garden home. He loves the variety Central Florida offers, from theme parks and sports to endless dining and outdoor activities. “There is something for everyone here,” he says.
Outside of work, Alvin enjoys building and tinkering with cars, often turning his BMW into a track car project. He is also passionate about cooking, with braised beef and mashed potatoes being his signature dish. Alvin speaks English and Spanish and is learning Cantonese to connect with his partner’s family. His dog, Jackson, is not only his best friend but also an Instagram star with more than 20,000 followers.
When it comes to local favorites, Alvin recommends Maggiano’s for Italian comfort food, Charley’s Steak House for a celebratory dinner, and the Winter Garden Farmers Market for fresh finds and family weekends. He is also a regular at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival, calling it one of his favorite Orlando traditions.
