From Classroom to Closing Table
Before she became a Realtor®, Jessica spent years as a kindergarten teacher. She loved helping children learn and grow, but eventually, she wanted a new challenge that gave her more flexibility for her family and allowed her to continue making an impact in people’s lives.
“Teaching and real estate have a lot in common,” Jessica shares. “You guide, explain, and care. You learn to problem-solve and stay calm when things get tricky.”
In 2019, she made the leap to real estate after a close friend and mentor, Corey Welch, encouraged her to take the next step. What started as helping with showings soon became a full-time passion. She found her home at Wemert Group Realty, where teamwork, encouragement, and balance gave her room to grow both personally and professionally.
Today, Jessica brings that same patience and empathy from her classroom days into every transaction, making sure each client feels heard, supported, and confident throughout the process.
A True Orlando Native
Born and raised in East Orlando, Jessica knows Central Florida by heart. She remembers when local streets had more orange groves than traffic lights and when her neighborhood was still surrounded by woods.
“I used to ride my bike down roads that didn’t even have sidewalks,” she says with a smile. “Now those same places are full of homes, shops, and families.”
Her deep roots give her clients an advantage. She knows the hidden gems in every corner of Orlando, from the family-friendly parks in Oviedo to the cozy communities in Apopka, where she now lives with her husband and three kids.
“I love when I show someone an area they hadn’t thought about,” Jessica says. “Then they see it, and it just clicks. They fall in love with it. That moment never gets old.”
Jessica Remillard’s Approach Built on Empathy and Trust
Her Clients describe Jessica Remillard as patient, genuine, and steady. She listens first, asks questions, and takes the time to understand what matters most to her clients.
“If you’re just browsing, that’s okay,” she laughs. “I’ll look with you. I love houses too. When the time is right, I’ll be there.”

One of her favorite stories is of a couple who faced credit challenges and needed time to rebuild. Jessica stayed in touch for more than two years, checking in, cheering them on, and helping them prepare. When they were finally ready, she found them their dream home.
“They became friends,” she says. “Now they send me referrals and updates about their life. That’s what makes this work so special.”
Life Beyond Real Estate
For Jessica, real estate isn’t just a career. It’s the life balance she always wanted.
“Teaching was rewarding, but it took so much of me,” she says. “Now I can still help people, but I also get to be present for my kids. I can pick them up from school, go for a run, and still do what I love.”
That balance also helps her connect with her clients, many of whom are families going through big life changes. She understands their hopes, their stress, and their excitement because she’s been there herself.
“Home means everything,” Jessica says. “It’s where your life happens — where your kids grow, where you celebrate milestones, where you rest. Helping people find that space means the world to me.”
Home, Family, and Finding Balance
When she’s not helping clients, Jessica is all about family and connection. She and her husband have three kids, ages 15, 13, and 8, and life is always full of activity. Between sports, school events, and family dinners, Jessica jokes that she’s “basically a full-time Uber driver.”
She loves running, staying active, and spending time outdoors. You might catch her jogging through her neighborhood or soaking up the sun by the pool. “I love that in Orlando you can be outside almost year-round,” she says. “And we’re so close to everything, including: beaches, great restaurants, and the airport. It’s such a great place to live.”
When asked about her favorite Orlando restaurant, she smiles. “Bar Italia,” she says right away. “Pizza, pasta, and good company. It’s my happy place.”
And when she’s not on the go, you’ll find her reading a Colleen Hoover novel or sipping her favorite caramel macchiato. “I tried giving up coffee once,” she admits, laughing, “but it didn’t go well. I love everything about it. From making it, sipping it, and enjoying it. It’s my little daily joy.”
