Visit the old-time candy shop, Rocket Fizz, that will take you back in time. The candy and soda bottles will bring back the nostalgia. Check out Sultre Boutique, which has shabby chic clothing that will have you always looking great and in style. You can also check out Lululemon, a sportswear store that sells athletic clothes as well as yoga attire. For the music lover in your life, you can check out the music shop. Winter Park Village:

Park Avenue is not the only shopping area in Winter Park. There’s also the Winter Park Village area with a ton of shopping stores and quite a few places to eat.

Make your way over to the Nordstrom Rack in the Winter Park Square. An Ulta Beauty isn’t far from here either. Pick up some new makeup or hair products while you’re visiting this location. Luckily, shopping here also offers a few massage or nail and spa places to relax for a bit during your shopping trip. Hand and Stone Massage and facial spa and the Pristine Nail Lounge to name just a couple.

 

If you love sports or the outdoors, Winter Park has the perfect outdoors sporting goods store for you. REI gives off a very woodsy atmosphere while you’re shopping. This store will have everything you need from camping equipment, fitness wear, to yoga attire and accessories, and most importantly any of your sporting good needs for every occasion.

 

Delicious and Divine Dining in Winter Park:

 

Dining at restaurants here will have you wanting to come back all the time. For instance, try out breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Boca Kitchen Bar Market. You can also try out Burgerfi for all-natural burgers with your choice of regular or seasoned French fries. If you’re a fan of barbeque food, then Winter Park has a place you will really enjoy called The Coop. This southern-style restaurant was created by the same owner of 4Rivers. This casual restaurant is popular for delicious fried chicken and mouthwatering home-style foods. When you visit The Wine Room, you can also try out a variety of different wine. Winter Park Village also has many different restaurants to pick from. A popular place to be on a Saturday night in Winter Park is the Cheesecake Factory. At the Cheesecake Factory, you can order lunch specials, dinner entrees and of course there are so many cheesecake options to choose from. Their menu will have your mouth watering.

Maybe you’re a person that likes to go to brunch, the perfect place for that is Briarpatch. Try out any of their delightful breakfast specialties like waffles, eggs, or pancakes. You’ll also be overjoyed to try out their delicious homemade ice cream. Later on, make sure that you check out the Italian style restaurant called Prato, where you can try all the best Italian foods. Enjoy some delicious food choices at The Ravenous Pig. At this restaurant, you can try a variety of different beers and handcrafted cocktails.

 

 

 

Transportation in the area:

Your commute to work will be made easier and cheaper with the ability to use the local Sunrail. Don’t just use it for work, but you can use this form of transportation to enjoy the shopping area on Park Avenue. Travel to and from this area at any of the scheduled times. You will also have only a close distance to travel to and from I4. If you don’t choose to ride the Sunrail, it will be a close distance from the interstate. This will make it much simpler to get to the downtown Orlando area.

 

Stunning Landscapes and Scenery:

Get a boost of energy with a steamy espresso drink at the local Starbucks, then take a walk around this gorgeous area. Admire the fountain in Park Avenue. Have a picnic in the park called Central Park where there is plenty of open space to sit and get some sunshine. Explore this historic downtown area complete with gorgeous landscapes.

You will be able to walk around and see the private college in town, Rollins College. If you’re looking for an area with a lakeside view, Winter Park has the Lake Virginia where you can go and visit, possibly take your boat out for an exciting summer day on this popular lake. The venue includes a little amphitheater for any ceremony and is surrounded by colorful floral scenery. This also includes bench seating so that you won’t have to worry about finding outdoor seats to accommodate each of your guests.

This section can be great for your wedding as it’s close to the boardwalk and not far from the Butterfly Garden. This will give your guests easy access to view different areas of the Mead Garden.

 

This pavilion may also be used for garden parties, birthday parties, or picnics. Mead Garden is not the only park here in the gorgeous Winter Park area. Another venue opportunity that you won’t want to miss out on is the lovely Casa Feliz Historic Home and Venue on Park Avenue. The brick styled building will be perfect for any wedding style that you might have in mind. This venue isn’t only used for wedding venues.

 

Depending on the day and time, this historic style home also offers an event to the public called “Music at the Casa.” This event offers a handful of musicians or groups that perform in the main parlor of the casa. If you want a more private and personal tour of the casa, you can book a private tour to learn all about the history of this historic home.

 

This town also offers Cady Way Park. All ages can enjoy this park. There’s a playground for the kids to run, slide, and swing. Cady Way Park has picnic tables so that you can set up a birthday party. You could possibly just sit and relax in the shade. If it’s a regular humid Florida day, you also have the option to take a dip in the pool. Cady Way Park offers not just three, but actually, four different tennis courts to choose from. What would a park be without a softball field? Cady Way Park goes above and beyond and actually offers two softball fields.

 

If you’re the type of person that likes to go and experience a simpler, quiet park, then Kraft Azalea Garden is the perfect park for you. This park is known as the Winter Park secret garden. At this location, you can go see the Exedra Monument and just take an easy stroll with natural shade from the cypress trees. You’ll be able to experience a lakeside view at this park since its right by Lake Maitland.

 

Entertainment in the Area:

Winter Park puts together fun and entertaining art festivals. For instance, they put together an annual Sidewalk Art Festival every so often in between the Central Park area and Park Avenue. During this outdoor event, artists from all over come together to show off their artwork and judges will rank their art by different categories.

Festivals throughout the year aren’t the only form of entertainment that Winter Park has to offer. The Regal Winter Park Village Stadium movie theater has stadium seating complete with relaxing recliner chairs, this way you can recline your seat and you can feel right at home while seeing all the popular new movies that come out.

 

 

 

Museums in the Area:

Winter Park also offers an abundance of museums to go to. For instance, the art museum in this town known as the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American art. At this museum, not only will you be able to see regular art, but you can also see some glass art pieces that they also have displayed here.

Another type of museum to see is the Albin Polasek Museum and sculpture gardens. At this museum, you’ll be able to see handcrafted sculptures within the natural garden area. There are just as many sculptures inside as there are in the garden section of this museum. If art sculptures don’t interest you as much, there’s another museum in town that offers more of a fine arts atmosphere. The Cornell Fine Arts Museum has informative paintings and plenty of pieces of artwork. You can actually find this museum at the Rollins College campus. Speaking of schools in the Winter Park area, this part of town also has the Crealde School of Art which is a type of art school in the area that doesn’t just offer art classes but also offers visual and three-dimensional art classes. They also offer summer art classes as well as a workshop series. Not only are you learning about art, but this gives you the opportunity to make your own art tangible.

 

Bear Gully Lake:

You can come home to your lovely house that surrounds the tremendously divine Bear Gully Lake. You’ll feel like you’re on vacation just stepping into your backyard that faces this beautiful Lake that shines when the sun hits it just right. Grab one of your favorite books and sit in your background to gaze at the exquisite view of this lake. You’ll also love how centered on nature it is. This neighborhood is exquisite and you’ll feel calm and at ease living in a gorgeous place like this.
