Located in the Downtown Avalon Park area is the Avalon Park YMCA. The Avalon Park YMCA has many incredible programs, especially for children and youth. Check out which hours the Avalon Park YMCA is open and head over to this location on whatever day or time works best for you. For instance, Monday through Friday the hours open are 7:00 A.M. until 1 P.m. and then the nightly hours are from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday hours are only from 8:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M., and Sundays the YMCA is closed.
Downtown Avalon Park:
Explore the beautiful Downtown Avalon Park area. Walk around this beautiful area, check out any of the events that happen throughout the year at this location, and pick up food at any of the restaurants located throughout the Downtown Avalon Park area. You can even take the opportunity to shop at the stores located around this part of town.
Parks In Avalon:
Another great reason to visit the Avalon area is to hang out at all the amazing parks located throughout town. For example, you can visit Town Park. Town Park is located in the Downtown Avalon Park area. Another park that you can enjoy visiting is Tanja King Park. Tanja King Park has two baseball fields, one dog park, and one wonderful playground.

Some of the other parks located around the Avalon area include Live Oak Park, Dew Drop Park, and the Lake District Dog Park. Most of these parks have large green areas of grass to soak in the sun, and plenty of playground equipment for the kids to enjoy. Near the Avalon area is the Little Big Econ State Forest. Hike in this forest or just visit the area to experience such a beautiful part of Central Florida. Something else that Central Florida residents look forward to while being at Little Big Econ State Forest is the endless opportunities that they have while being at this park.
